About the Subject
- Darryl Gerard “D. J.” Augustin, Jr. played point guard for the University of Texas Longhorns from 2006 – 2008
- Terrance Jerod “T. J.” Ford played for the Texas Longhorns from 2001 – 2003. He led UT to the Final Four and was named Player of the Year by Sports Illustrated and others. Ford’s #11 jersey was retired by the University of Texas
- Slater Martin set a record in 1949 for putting up 49 points playing for the Texas Longhorns against the opposing Texas Christian University team. Martin averaged 12.7 points per game. His jersey #15 was retired by the University of Texas on January 31, 2009
