About

Nancy Lieberman was a member of the first Women’s Olympic Basketball Team in 1976 (Montreal) where she won a silver medal. As a member of the professional Dallas Diamonds she earned MPV when they won the championship in 1984. As a coach Lieberman led the Dallas Fury to the WNBA Finals and championship in 2004 and 2005. She later became the first female head coach of a men’s professional basketball team, the Texas Legends, a Dallas Mavericks affiliate, in 2009
