About the Subject
- Earl Campbell won the Heisman Trophy while playing for the University of Texas in 1977. He went on to play for the Houston Oilers (19781984) and New Orleans Saints (19841985). He is one of only 3 Heisman Trophy winners who went on to be a first overall draft pick and member of both the Pro Football Hall of Fame and College Football Hall of Fame
